Crumply animals

There’s an orange tiger laying in the dining room

Silent and staring at the sky

There’s a curled up giraffe on the parquet floor

A yellow face and winky eye

Somewhere at school there’s a hidden gorilla

Just waiting for the children to meet

But there’s no threat and no one’s worried

Because the gorilla has no feet

Careful not to startle the elephant

Let the penguins go on their way

For they’re just crumply animals

On the walls at school today
